"Like many others, I used to meticulously curate how my Instagram grid looked. I was extremely concerned with how my work was perceived out in the world. If an image looked good next to another, I would upload it, but if it didn’t preform well, I would delete it. If for any reason I found a specific section of my grid to not work well with another, I would delete that section. I even started fresh a few times and deleted everything on the grid. I was constantly reinventing my photographer persona. This cycle continued on for years, up until I was no longer pursuing a career in photography. Don’t Delete Your Archive is a series of images that were once deleted off of the Instagram grid, but never from the archive."
